Read on to find out how to make a vanilla latte, caramel cold brew, and spiced mocha from the comfort of home.

Vanilla Latte

For this recipe, you’re going to start with our Lucina Espresso blend. You’ll also need milk (plant-based is fine), vanilla syrup, and a mason jar. Then, follow these steps:

  • Make your espresso using your preferred method and pour it into a mug, leaving about two-thirds of the mug empty
  • Pour one cup of milk and one to two tablespoons of vanilla syrup into your mason jar
  • Leave the lid off the jar and heat it in the microwave for 30 to 90 seconds (or until the milk is hot
  • Add the lid to the jar and shake the mason jar vigorously to create a frothy texture
  • Slowly pour the frothed milk into your espresso and enjoy

Don’t worry—a drink with two or three ounces of espresso isn’t actually more caffeinated than a typical cup of coffee!

Caramel Cold Brew

Grab your favorite coffee blend with a coarse grind and a French press to make this cool and refreshing coffee drink. To make your own cold brew:

  • Add one ounce of coffee grounds for every eight ounces of cold water to your French press
  • Allow it to sit in a cool place for 12-24 hours before straining out the grounds

Then, all you need is your favorite glass, some caramel syrup, and a milk of your choice. Follow these steps to make caramel cold brew:

  • Pour your cold brew into the glass and mix one to two ounces of caramel syrup in, making sure that it dissolves completely
  • Add as much or as little milk as you desire

Pop in your reusable straw, and sip away!

Spiced Mocha

If you’ve ever tried Mexican coffee, you’re going to love this recipe. To make it, you’ll need to:

  • Brew two ounces of espresso or six ounces of coffee
  • In a bowl, mix one tablespoon of cocoa powder, one to two tablespoons of confectioners’ sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, and a dash of cayenne pepper
  • Pour your dry mix into a mug before adding your espresso or coffee, and stir well
  • Add an optional shot of heavy cream for a richer texture

This drink is perfect on a chilly fall morning, but you can enjoy these rich flavors all year round.
